b. Press the entire collar smooth
and flat, smooth stretching where
necessary to obtain the proper
shape and to straighten the edges,
working any fullness towards the
center of the collar and removing
the fullness by shrinking.
c. Press the upper front on a
body machine, shrinking in and
properly shaping the chest.
d. Press the lower front and
pockets smooth and flat.
e. Press the sides, working
fullness towards the back.
f. Press the back smooth and
flat, removing all fullness and
lapping the left vent on the right
vent.
g. Press the sleeves smooth and
flat, creasing at the backarm and
the forearm. The backarm crease
shall be on the backarm seam. The
forearm crease shall extend
uniformly to a point 1 to 1-1/2
inches above the bottom edge of
the breast pockets. The backarm
crease shall be in line with the
forearm crease.
h. Block the shoulders to remove
the fullness. Press shoulders
smooth on a shoulder shaping
machine with shoulder straps
properly positioned over shoulder
seam and pressed flat.
i. Press the armholes solid from
the inside, creasing the armholes
on the front, back, and armpit.
The armpit and the back of the
armhole shall be held short while
pressing.
j. Block the armholes on a
pressing buck, shrinking in the
top sleeves.
