a. Baste the lace to the collar with

strands. Beginnings and ends of lace
shall be at a corner.

that the lace shall seam continuous
without a break.

Stitch gold lace to collar and pipe
upper edge.
Finished appearance. The finished
lace shall be smooth, flat, firmly
attached, uniformly positioned, and
uniformly stitched. Raw edges and
loose threads shall not be visible.
