The bartack shall be across the entire
width of the fastener and shall be
finely stitched in order to not have
an objectionable appearance on the
outside of the belt. The fastener,
when buttoned, shall be smooth and
flat without twisting or bulging.

in operation 7.k and 7.l.
7 Make optional one piece belt (see
Figure 7).
Finished appearance. The belt shall
finish smooth and flat without twists,
pleats, puckers or raw edges. The
pointed end of the belt shall be well
formed. The buttonhole shall be clean
cut and well made. The ends of the
buttonhole shall be securely tacked.
