4 Make belt loops and keeper.
Finished appearance. The belt loops
and keeper shall finish 1/2 inch wide
and shall finish smooth and flat
without pleats, gathers, puckers, or
other distortions. The stitching
shall be uniformly 1/8 inch from the
finished edges.

made from a 1 inch wide strip of basic
material.

5 Make belt fastener (standard belt
only) (see Figure 6).

wide and shall finish smooth and flat
without pleats, gathers, puckers or
other distortions. The buttonhole
shall be clean cut and well made to
fit a 22-line sewing hole button. The
purling of the buttonhole shall be on
the outside of the fastener.
a. The belt fastener shall be made
from a 1-5/8 inch wide strip of rayon
lining material.
b. Fold the strip in half lengthwise,

inch from each side, catching turned
