During the performance of end item examination, a tally of liners that contain a two-piece panel
shall be maintained. At the completion of the examination if the tally exceeds 5 percent of the
total liners in the sample, the lot shall be rejected (see 3.4).
NOTE: If 5 percent of the sample should result in a fractional acceptance number such as 6.25
or 15.75. the next highest whole number shall be used as the acceptance number (i.e. 7 or 16).
