1/ The specimen must be dried after each of the 3 laundering cycles.
2/ On the color transfer cloth evaluation, only the stain on the cotton and polyester fibers of the color
transfer cloth shall be evaluated.

5/ Unless otherwise specified, a certificate of compliance shall be submitted and will be acceptable for
the stated requirements.
3.2.1.1 Shade inspection The color and appearance of the dyed and finished cloth shall match the
standard sample when viewed under filtered tungsten lamps which approximate artificial daylight having
a correlated color temperature of 7500K (+200K) with illumination of 100 (+20) foot candles, and
shall be a good match to its applicable standard sample under incandescent lamplight at 2300K
(+200K).
